Pay-per-Lead Ad Management

Google is retiring the Local Services Ads dashboard. We'll manage the move – and your leads – so you don't have to.

You still pay only for valid leads. Your ads still show on Google Search and Maps. But management now happens inside the full Google Ads platform, as a specialised pay-per-lead Performance Max campaign. UK accounts migrate during 2027 – getting ahead of it now means zero disruption to your lead flow.

What's actually changing – in plain English

What's changing

Local Services Ads become a specialised "Performance Max with pay-per-lead goals" campaign inside Google Ads. The old, simple LSA dashboard disappears.

What stays the same

You only pay for valid leads – calls, messages and bookings. Your ads still appear on Google Search and Maps only, keywordless, powered by your Google Business Profile.

What's lost

Manual bidding, the simple dashboard, and all historical performance reports – unless they're exported before migration. Google gives just 14 days' notice by email.

The timeline

US home & storefront services from August 2026. Broader US late 2026. UK and other countries during 2027.

Why this matters: your Google Business Profile now powers your ads even more directly. The GBP optimisation we do on every BeFindable plan and your ad performance are now linked – strong organic foundations make every pay-per-lead campaign cheaper and better.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the move to pay-per-lead Performance Max.
Will my ads look different to customers?
No. Your ads still appear on Google Search and Maps in the same placements, with your reviews and Google badge. What changes is how campaigns are managed behind the scenes.
Do I still pay per lead?
Yes. The pay-per-lead model carries over: you pay for valid calls, messages and bookings, not for clicks or impressions.
What happens to my old reports?
They are not migrated. Unless your Local Services Ads history is exported before your account moves, it is gone for good. Exporting everything is step one of our Migration Audit.
When will my account move?
US home and storefront services migrate from August 2026, the wider US later in 2026, and the UK and other countries during 2027. Google gives around 14 days' notice by email.
Can I still dispute bad leads?
Yes. Lead credits and disputes continue in the new system, but the process now lives inside Google Ads. Dispute filing is included on our Standard and Pro add-on tiers.
Do I need a Google Ads account?
Yes. Once migrated, campaigns run inside Google Ads. We set this up, or link your existing account, as part of setup, and you keep full ownership.
